Michiyo Ueno
She learned dressmaking while studying abroad in England and launched her personal brand “Michi”. She has held solo exhibitions in Beppu City, Tokyo, and Osaka, and in 2017 was based in England, focusing on exhibiting at exhibitions. Since 2020, she has moved her activities to Japan and is producing kimono remake work that combines the techniques of dressmaking and Japanese dressmaking.
She lives in Beppu City, Oita Prefecture.
